Top of the tower, then a steak
A day in Las Vegas — 6 stops, about 2.04 km on foot, 30 minutes walking.
A day spent mostly at the north end of the Strip, working through the STRAT tower's high platforms and rides, with a break for an early dinner at a 1958 steakhouse. About 1.4 km of walking in total. Suits anyone comfortable with heights who wants the views and the drop rides in one go.
The route, in order
SkyJump
Start with the jump while nerves and daylight are both fresh — everything after this is calmer by comparison.
1 min walk — Head southwest
The STRAT Observation Deck
Back inside at the same height, the observation deck is where you catch your breath and actually look at the valley.
5 min walk — Head southwest
STRAT SkyPod
The SkyPod covers the same vantage point from another angle, worth a slow circuit before you head back down.
10 min walk — Head west toward W Bob Stupak Ave
Golden Steer Steakhouse Las Vegas
Opens 16:30
A short walk off the tower for an early dinner; the steakhouse opens at 16:30, so this lands as the day shifts.
11 min walk — Head east toward W Cincinnati Ave
Thrill Rides
Return to the tower for the drop and spinning rides — better after the meal has settled, and better once the lights are on.
3 min walk — Head southwest on Las Vegas Blvd S toward W Bob Stupak Ave
Gateway Arches Observation Deck
Finish on the Gateway Arches deck for one last wide view of the city before calling it a night.
