From the bayfront into Brickell

A day in Miami — 4 stops, about 3.3 km on foot, 48 minutes walking.

A downtown day that starts on the water, moves past the arena, and ends with dinner and late shopping in Brickell. About 2.5 km of flat walking, all on pavement. Suits anyone with an afternoon free and no interest in driving between stops.

The route, in order

  1. Bayside Marketplace

Start at the water: the marketplace is the easiest place downtown to orient yourself, get coffee or lunch, and look out over the bay.

  2. 11 min walk — Head northwest

    Kaseya Center

A short walk along the bayfront brings you to the arena, worth circling for the scale of it and the view back toward the water.

  3. 20 min walk — Head west toward NE 6th St/Port Blvd

    Tâm Tâm

    Opens 17:30

Head inland from the arena; Tâm Tâm opens at 17:30, so time the walk to arrive as the kitchen starts and the room fills.

  4. 17 min walk — Head east on NW 1st St toward NW Miami Ct

    Brickell City Center

A few blocks on, the open-air mall stays busy after dinner — good for a browse, a drink, or just walking off the meal under the canopy.
