Above Findlerhof 20 mins. They whistle before you see. Sit, don’t chase — the selfie is entirely their decision, and they have turned down better offers.

Will I see Matterhorn?
Maybe not. 30% of days it hides in cloud. Locals check at 6am. If hidden, hike anyway. Mountain is shy, not rude.
Is it expensive?
Yes. 82 CHF train, 14.50 CHF parking, 20 CHF taxi, 28 CHF rösti. But no car needed. Ever. Swiss Travel Pass helps.
Can I drive?
No. Road ends at Täsch. Electric taxis only. Your car waits. You walk. That’s the point since 1931.
